Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BT WORLD's internal content-publishing application ("BT WORLD Auto Publisher") handles information when it connects to third-party platforms, including Pinterest, to publish BT WORLD's own content.

1. Purpose of the application

BT WORLD Auto Publisher is an internal tool used by BT WORLD to authenticate with supported platforms and publish BT WORLD's original AI-assisted video content. It is intended for BT WORLD's own account and is not offered as a public multi-user service.

2. Information accessed

When authorised, the application may access account and board information required to authenticate the BT WORLD account, identify the destination board, publish Pins, and confirm publication status. It may also process media files and metadata supplied by BT WORLD for publication, such as titles, descriptions, alt text, links, and AI-content disclosure information maintained for platform workflows.

3. How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the authorised account, prepare and publish BT WORLD content, maintain publishing logs and status records, and troubleshoot publishing operations.

4. Data sharing

The application does not sell personal information. Information is transmitted only to third-party services required for the requested publishing workflow, such as Pinterest and associated storage services used to provide publicly reachable media URLs for publication.

5. Authentication credentials

OAuth credentials used by the application are stored locally on the operator's computer and are not intentionally published or sold. Access tokens and refresh tokens are treated as confidential credentials.

6. Data retention

Publishing metadata and operational logs may be retained locally for as long as needed for publishing operations, record keeping, troubleshooting, or security. Information is not retained for unrelated purposes.

7. Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect locally stored credentials and publishing data. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Revoking access

Authorisation can be revoked through the relevant third-party platform. Once access is revoked, the application can no longer use the revoked authorisation to access that account.

9. Children's privacy

The application is not designed as a service for children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information for its own purposes.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the application or its data practices materially change. The effective date above will be updated when a new version is published.
